Mack and Travis Braxton lead RMB with a five-person team covering design coordination, project management, client selections, and construction.

Both owners hold North Carolina Unlimited General Contractor licenses and are NAHB Certified Green Professionals.

Begin with a meeting to discuss the home, property, budget, priorities, and RMB's custom home building process.
The team develops preliminary architectural designs, handles planning details, and coordinates any necessary community approvals.
You'll make personalized selections with guidance from our trusted partners, allowing us to prepare an informed preliminary cost estimate.
We complete detailed construction plans, coordinate engineering, and manage all final approvals to set the stage for the build.
With every detail in place, we prepare your contract and timeline, ready to bring your custom home to life with expert precision.
We begin each new build with a Preconstruction Services Agreement. It covers all the early-stage work, including site evaluations, design collaboration, and comprehensive estimating, that lays the foundation for what is to come. This agreement makes sure that your new home build starts with clarity, efficiency, and a shared commitment to excellence from day one.

Mack holds a N.C. Unlimited General Contractor's License, with memberships in the American Institute of Building Design and the National Association of Home Builders, and has earned his Certified Green Professional designation from the NAHB. Travis also holds a N.C. Unlimited General Contractor's License and his Certified Green Professional designation, serves as the chair for the American Custom Builders Council, and sits on the board of directors for the Wilmington-Cape Fear Homebuilders Association.
